Description of N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane

CFS-243, N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane is a high functional silane with a hydrolysable methoxy group and a diamino group. It is used as the equivalent of Dynasylan DAMO or Momentive Silquest A-1120. In Chinese market CFS-243 is well- known as KH-792.

Application of N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane

CFS-243 can erect superior adhesion to inorganic materials, for example, metals, glass, ceramics. It can also improve adhesion to a variety of composites.
CFS-243 can be used as an adhesion promoter in paints, coating, adhesives and sealants industries. It is typically used in one-component and two-component polysulfide sealants.
CFS-243 can be used as an additive for special primers in many bonding applications.
CFS-243 can be used to improve the bonding performance between organic resins and inorganic materials. It normally acts as a surface modifier of inorganic fillers and pigments.
CFS-243 can be used as a primer for glass and metal or a polymer additive.
CFS-243 can also be used for the synthesis of textile and fabrics additives.

Storage of N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane

CFS-243 should be stored in its original containers. It should be used up as soon as possible after opening.
CFS-243 should be stored in a well-ventilated and cool place. Exposure to humidity is not allowed.
CFS-243 has a shelf life of 12 months when it is stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container.
