Description of Vinyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane

CFS-331, Vinyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane is an important MEKO silane which mainly acts as a crosslinking agent. It is normally abbreviated as VOS and is the equivalent of Honeywell OS2000.

Application of Vinyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane

CFS-331 is mainly used as a crosslinking agent for RTV silicone rubbers.
CFS-331 can be used as a neutral curing agent in the formulation of silicone sealants. In combination with CFS-549, abbreviated MOS, CFS-331 can improve mechanical properties and chemical properties of sealants.

Storage of Vinyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane

CFS-331 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-331 should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-331 has a shelf life of 12months.

Mercapto Silanes

  Mercapto silanes are functional organosilanes that typically formulated with a hydrolysable alkoxy group and a reactive mercapto group. With the presence of mercapto group and alkoxy group, mercapto silanes can build a molecular bridge between organic resins and inorganic substrates.   Amino silane coupling agents are mainly used for glass fiber reinforced plastics. Siloxy are reactive to inorganic substances, and organic functional groups are reactive or compatible to organic substances.
