Description of Trimethoxysilane

CFS-903, Trimethoxysilane is a highly flammable liquid containing alkoxy group and active hydrogen bond which can react with a series of alkyne-based monomers. It is mainly used as an important intermediate for the synthesis of functional organosilicon compounds.

Application of Trimethoxysilane

CFS-903 can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of functional silanes and organosilicon compounds. It’s the basic material of vinyl silanes and epoxy silanes such as A-187 silane with Cas No. 2530-83-8, A-171 silane with Cas No. 2768-02-7and so on.
CFS-903 can be used for the preparation of modified adhesives & sealants, paints & coatings, anti-fogging agents, water repellents and derivatives of silane coupling agents.
CFS-903 can be used as a hydrogen reduction agent for hydrosilylation reaction.
CFS-903 can be also used as an important pharmaceutical intermediate and an additive for electronic components.

Storage of Trimethoxysilane

CFS-903 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-903 should be stored in its original containers and used up asap after opening.
