Description of Hexamethyldisilazane
CFS-973, Hexamethyldisilazane is a trimethyl terminated silyl amine. It is an extremely strong silyl agent. It can be described as Bis(trimethylsilyl)amine and it’s normally abbreviated as HMDS. Application of Hexamethyldisilazane
CFS-973 can be used as a blocking agent to protect sensitive functional groups. It is a reagent for the preparation of trimethylsilyl derivatives;
CFS-973 can be used as a versatile silylation agent and an intermediate for functional silicones and pharmaceutical synthesis;
CFS-973 can be used as a tackifier and adhesion promoter for photoresist;
