Description of Low Viscosity Dimethicone

Co-Formula offers a series of low viscosity and medium viscosity Dimethicone which is known as PDMS, Polydimethylsiloxane or dimethyl silicone fluid. Co-Formula Dimethicone is colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-sticky, non-toxic, non-irritating and transparent liquids. These fluids can be used in a wide range of application fields. Besides general industrial use, they are also used in many skin care and beauty products.

Application of Low Viscosity Dimethicone

CFS-F(M) with low viscosity is mainly used in various cosmetics and personal care products formulations, with excellent physical and chemical properties.
CFS-F(M) with low viscosity can be used as a basic oil phase component or as a temporary carrier for active substances to improve the spreading property and easy to smear. 
CFS-F(M) with low viscosity can be used as a low viscosity siloxane, which can reduce the stickiness of the formula and produce a unique delicate and smooth skin feeling. It also reduces surface tension, helps to spread and promotes uniform dispersion of solid pigments.

CFS-F(M) with low viscosity is offered in 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.

Storage of Low Viscosity Dimethicone

CFS-F(M) with low viscosity should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
CFS-F(M) with low viscosity should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-F(M) with low viscosity has a shelf life of 12months.
